Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport. Clients will be welcomed by the Representative of Reliance Tours / Chauffeur guide and transfer to the hotel in Colombo.
Colombo was only a small seaport, which came into prominence in the 16th Century with the arrival of the Portuguese in 1505 and the development of it as a major Harbor took place during the British period. Colombo became the capital of Sri Lanka in 1815 after Kandyan Kingdom was ceded to the British. The remains of the buildings during the period of the Portuguese, Dutch and British rule are found in every area of the city. Colombo is a shopping paradise for shoppers who always enjoy a good bargain on quality clothes and fashion accessory items. Genuine Gem Stones have been used in designing the jewelry, blending the lush fresheners of nature with the warm sensuality of design.

Start with a glass of local arrack which will make your tummy ready for the food items coming up during the tour. Visits to popular local eatery shops which are famous amongst the locals. All of them are different from the other’s representing various kind of traditions from all over the country.
We are not really confident 100% on the standards of the food, but this will be the perfect opportunity to learn about the culinary of the country especially in the city of Colombo.

Breakfast at the hotel. Then proceed to Galle via Balapituya. Visit Kosgoda turtle hatchery and participate on a boat ride in Madu River.
Turtle Hatchery Where you can see five species of turtles-Green Turtles (Chelonia mydas), Hawksbill Turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata), Loggerhead Turtle (Caretta caretta), Leatherback Turtle (Dermochelys coriacea) and Olive Ridley Turtle (Lepidochelys olivacea).
The eggs collected by the Villagers and Fishermen are purchased by the Kosgoda Hatchery and kept in sandy pens until they are hatched. The newly hatched ones are kept in seawater tanks and released to the sea in the night. This Hatchery alone has released more then 1,750,000 young turtles to the sea. An endowment by the Hasselblad Estate was responsible for the establishment of this hatchery.
A beautiful river that nestles alongside Whispering Waters. Madu Ganga is considered as Sri Lanka’s second largest wetland consisting of 32 islands including two main islands providing shelter to 215 families. The Madu Ganga River is a shallow water body in south-west Sri Lanka, which enters the sea at Balapitiya. Together with the smaller Randombe Lake, to which it is connected by two narrow channels, it forms the Madu Ganga wetland. Its estuary and the many mangrove islets on it constitute a complex coastal wetland ecosystem. In has high ecological, biological and aesthetic significance, being home to 303 species of plants belonging to 95 families and to 248 species of vertebrate animals. Madu Ganga is possibly one of the last remaining tracts of pristine mangrove forests in Sri Lanka.
Afternoon cycling tour in Galle inland village.
It will be approximately a two & half hour cycling journey in a quiet village environment where you can get the atmosphere of a rural areas. Further you will get the opportunity to see tea, rubber and cinnamon plantations as well as the paddy fields. Witness the daily activities of the people live in the village and how their work will be in the plantations and agricultural lands.
Tour will continue a bit off road tracks which will take you to lagoon and mangroves where you can see local fisherman.
Thereafter proceed to the hotel in Mirissa.
Morning excursion to a whale watching tour with pack breakfast.
Whale watching in Sri Lanka – Mirissa became major whale watching spotting place in Sri Lanka. Every Year hundreds of Whales and Dolphins gathering Mirissa. Mainly you can see Blue and Spam Whales.
Out of the largest mammals on earth Sri Lanka is the place where you can observe the largest land mammal the Elephant and the largest sea mammal the Whale. They breathe air through blowhole(s) into lungs (unlike fish who breathe using gills). Whales have sleek, streamlined bodies that move easily through the water. Whales feed on small fish. The biggest whale is the blue whale, which grows to be about 94 feet (29 m) long – the height of a 9-story building.
Thereafter relax by the beach or visit the secret beach of Mirissa & the coconut hill.
Secret Beach is one of the uncrowded place in Mirissa to relax, to have a drink or a swim in the natural pool and to enjoy the surroundings. It is also a good place for the view of sunset. There has been a small pool created by the rocks around to protect the beach from the rough ocean making it a perfect place for kids to swim and for parents to relax.
Coconut tree hill – This is the most popular Instagram spot in Mirissa. It is a small hill literally covered by the coconut trees and it get busy due to the popularity. This location is a perfect spot to watch a sunset but it can be very crowded at that time. Don’t forget to watch your head from the coconuts of the trees.

Mirissa | Udawalawe
Breakfast at the hotel. Then proceed to Udawalawe and afternoon jeep safari.
Udawalawe National Park covers an area of 230,821 hectares and was declared in 1972.
This Park is rich in Elephant population as the Park has about 500 Elephants. Wild Buffalo, Spotted Deer, Barking Deer, Wild Boar, Sambhur, Hare, Mongoose, Crocodile and 30 species of Snakes are recorded. 50 species of Butterflies and many species of Birds are found in the Park.
Udawalawe is the best national park spotting wild elephants in Sri Lanka
Thereafter proceed to the hotel in Udawalawe.
Udawalawe | Ella
Breakfast at the hotel. Then excursion to Waulpane stone cave.
Waulpane Lime stone cave is located in the Bulutota Rakwana range, Wawulpane, meaning “cave of bats” in Sinhalese, is said to be home to an approximate 250,000 bats and the cave itself is dated to be over 500 million years old. This legendary rock cave with archaeological evidence of many civilizations runs back to the prehistoric era.
You can experience an authentic non touristic area with a rural village life, get interacted with local people and see different kinds of wildlife including bats, amphibians, reptiles and freshwater fish as well.
Then transfer to Ella. Visit a waterfall En-route.
This destination has spectacular scenic views of the island. You can see lots of mountains, waterfalls & tea plantations everywhere in the town.
Ravana Ella Waterfall – a nice waterfalls of 1080 feet high close to the road from Ella to Wellawaya. The stream, a tributary of Kirindi Oya plunges with a foaming spray over a series of ledges into the valley close to a road bend. The waters rise from Wewatenna highland above the rocks. In general the rocky underground of the waterfalls in Sri Lanka consists of hard gneiss or granite, but here the material is khondalite, a kind of limestone which undergoes decay faster. Thus there are caves near the falls. King Ravana of Ramayana legend is said to have lived in one of the caves above the waterfalls.

Ella rock located in Ella town is a great attraction to the travellers who are enthusiast for small adventures. This tour is covered with hiking, nature, panoramic views, train tracks, tea plantations as well as waterfalls. You can explore a large area during the excursion. Spectacular views surrounding country side of Ella and the splendid view of the mountain range and the valley are worth the effort.
It is not just a trekking experience and it is an epic lifetime experience. You will hear folktales about Great King Ravana and Epic Love story. Ella Rock situated over 1000 meters above the sea level.
Then visit to an authentic village in Ella.
Ella village tour will give a unique experience to the tourists for its tradition agriculture. Chena cultivation is the main experience of the tour and you can enjoy the life of wild Chena. Hence, the village has surrounded by a preserve, wild animals live around the village. The elephant, peacock, Sri Lankan monkey are some of them. There is a gorgeous lake in the village with lot of reptiles and birds. You will have a boat journey around the lake. The tour will fulfill with Sri Lankan village hospitality.

Ella | Nuwara Eliya | Kitulgala
Breakfast at the hotel. Then take a morning train journey.
Starts from the Ella railway station to Nanu Oya railway station. It is described as one of the most beautiful scenic train journey in the world. Distance is about 60 km however it will take approximately between 03 to 04 hours to reach Nanu Oya. It takes you through stunning landscape views of greenery tea plantations and mountains.
From Nanu Oya you will be picked up by the chauffeur and proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Then visit a Tea factory.
Tea Plantations – Tea was first planted in Sri Lanka in 1824 at the Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, when a few plants were brought from China. More were introduced from Assam in 1839.
In 1867, a Scottish Planter named James Taylor planted tea seedlings in an 8 hectares of forestland, in the Loolkondura Estate.
In 1873, the tea export industry of Sri Lanka began with a modest 23 lbs. being shipped to London.
Tea will grow only on rolling terrain and is classified by elevation into low grown, medium grown and high grown into 3 main groups. Today more than 200,000 hectares in highlands and other areas are under Tea and around 300 million Kilograms, with a 15% of world tea exports are done by Sri Lanka as one of the World’s largest Tea exporter.
Thereafter proceed to Kitulgala for white water rafting activity.
The experience of White Water Rafting in the picturesque Kelani River, there are 7 rapids covering 3 major rapids and 4 minor rapids (Grade 2 -3 rapids). Every rapid gives you great fun…epic excitement…! Kitulgala is a paradise for Sri Lanka adventure travelers. Rafting activity can be experience anyone above the age of 8 years and for this activity safety gear, modern rafts, and a comprehensive safety briefing will be given by our white water rafting instructors beforehand. The distance covered is around 7 KMs and duration of White Water Rafting experience would be approximately two hours (subject to Kalani River water speed).

Kitulgala | Negombo
Breakfast at the hotel. Then excursion to rock pool sliding and confident jump activity in Kitulgala Forest.
You can reach this location with a small hiking tour to the jungle and get to the beautiful waterfall with a natural rock pool. Safety equipment’s will be provided beforehand and the activity will be truly an adventurous. You will experience sliding down on a rock to the natural pool and a jump with safety to a beautiful natural pool which will make you confident.
Breathtaking view of the forest and the clean water is truly a gift of nature you should not be missed in Kitulgala.
Then transfer to Negombo.
Negombo is a famous fishing village North of Colombo. It is one of the famous commercial hubs in the country. Negombo is known for its long sandy beaches and centuries old fishing industry. Negombo has a large bilingual population of Roman Catholics.
Boat ride to Muthurajawela Wetland Sanctuary is a Wetland area of 2,000 hectares between Colombo and Negombo, set aside as a unique tropical wetland, with its flora and fauna of marshes, waters and mangrove forests.
Visitors can set sail on guided boat rides through the different ecological settings of the marsh sanctuary and the lagoon, or walk in nature trails and watch birds. Some 40% of the vertebrates of Sri Lanka are recorded here.
Plant life is also rich-the marsh vegetation includes mangroves, ferns and many grasses and sedges.
Birds are numerous. Commonly sighted species includes Cormorants, Storks, Bee-eaters,
Kingfishers, Grey Herons, Purple Coots, Little Green Herons, Yellow Bitterns, Black Bitterns, Moorhens and White-breasted Waterhens.
Evening walk in the streets on either side of the Hotels are dotted with Souvenir Shops, Restaurants etc.
